Midwest Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Staff to support both our patients and clinical team.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing clinical oversight with hands-on support. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients, assist with daily operations, and help foster a welcoming, safe, and compliant clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Administrative Management

  • Support providers in coordinating patient flow, scheduling, and treatment room readiness.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.

  • Oversee daily clinical operations to promote efficiency, safety, and professionalism.

  • Assist in training and onboarding new staff on clinic procedures and best practices.

Operations & Environment

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.

  • Monitor supply levels, assist with inventory management, and lift or move boxes (up to 40 lbs) as needed.

  • Support special projects and assist with process improvements across the clinic.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Excellence

Key Responsibilities

Patient Support & Clinical Assistance

  • Prepare patients for exams, procedures, and treatments.

  • Collect and process lab specimens, perform basic testing, and record results accurately.

  • Take and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.

  • Assist providers during exams and minor in-office procedures.

  • Educate patients on aftercare instructions and clinic procedures.

Clinical Operations & Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA standards.

  • Ensure all exam rooms and equipment are properly stocked, cleaned, and sterilized.

  • Manage supply inventory and notify leadership of restocking needs.

  • Support daily clinic operations, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination with the clinical team.

  • Uphold infection control and safety protocols to maintain a compliant clinical environment.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Clinical Coordinators to ensure smooth patient flow.

  • Assist in onboarding and training new staff on basic procedures and equipment use.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Technician (CMT), Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent certification preferred.
